Business potential of creative industries and prospects of joint cooperation discussed with the management of KOBIA

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), met with the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation, Vasif Eyvazzade and the members of the Federation.

It was noted at the meeting that creative and cultural industries, which include economy, culture, advanced technology and innovation, are developing dynamically in the world. Composed of literature and publishing, design and architecture, music, dance and theater, fashion and visual arts, film, video and photography, games and creative technologies, advertising and other areas, the creative industry is also a business field. The development and business opportunities of this field are also wide in Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, issues of development of creative industry in our country, support of creative and cultural business, organization in this field, broader representation of creative persons and business subjects in this field of industry, development of relations between the state and private sector in the relevant sector were discussed. The Federation offered to organize a training program on creative industries and a business forum in the framework of cooperation with KOBIA in the relevant field, and to implement various projects.
