We continue our activities in the direction of studying the best practices in creative industries and strengthening international cooperation of the Federation. Thus, as the winner of the first stage of the individual mobility programme within the #EU4Culture project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe Institute, Mr. Telman Malikzade, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation, visited the Czech Republic for a week-long mobility trip at the invitation of Creative Prague / Kreativní Praha (Kreativní Praha) to study the best practices of the Czech Republic in CCIs.
Within the framework of the visit program that took place on October 17-23, series of meetings were held at the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, at the project coordination office of the City of Literature Prague as a UNESCO creative city (https://www.prahamestoliteratury.cz/en/about/), at Dolni Vitkovica, a creative cluster of the city of Ostrava (https://www.dolnivitkovice.cz/), Prague Innovation Platform, University of Charles Campus Hybernska creative hub (https://www.kampushybernska.cz/en/campus-hybernska/), Art&Digital Lab H40 (https://h40.cz/lab/inkubator/) in the creative incubator center, the Technological Incubation Center for Creative Industries of the Czech Invest company operating under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (https://www.czechinvest.org/…/CzechInvest-seeks… ). In addition, Mr. T. Malikzade participated in the opening of the Creative Days Brno festival, and at the networking meeting organized by Kumst creative hub (https://www.kumstbrno.cz/en/), He spoke about Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation, the steps taken towards the development of creative industries in our country, the available opportunities created within #EU4Culture project in this direction, Lankaran Cultural Development Strategy Project, which won the competition for local non-capital cities.
Among the important meetings, a meeting was held with Mr. Gerin Trautenberger, director of the European Creative Business Network (ECBN), and the Federation’s membership in the Network was discussed with Mr. Trautenberger.
