Meeting held between Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation and Azerbaijan Publishers Association

At the meeting, existing opportunities and difficulties in the field of publishing industry in Azerbaijan, as well as sectoral issues related to the development of the field were discussed. The chairman of the Federation, Vasif Eyvazzade, informed about the mission and activities of the Federation and noted the possibility of joint cooperation with the Azerbaijan Publishers Association in solving important issues in the field of publishing within the framework of the Federation.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Publishers Association, Shamil Sadiq noted that the organization was newly established and spoke about the issues related to the sphere of activity. He stated that further development of public-private partnership and cooperation with Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation in this direction would be beneficial in solving the characteristic difficulties of publishers in the context of the country.

In the meeting, it was decided to hold a sectoral consultation and meeting with the participation of the relevant institutions in order to find flexible and prompt solutions to current issues in the field of publishing.
