Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation founded

Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) is a type of industry that combines economy, culture, creative technology and innovation, being one of the dynamically developing areas in the world economy. CCIs consist of the fields of literature and publishing, design, music and theater, architecture and fashion, crafts and visual arts, film, audiovisual – video and photo art, advertising, TV and radio broadcasting, games and creative technology, and implies the business development of these fields.

We would like to share with you the joy of realizing an idea that we have been working on for a long time in the “International Year of Creative Economy for Sustainable Development” announced by the UN. So, finally, Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation was established, which will coordinate the development of creative industries, manage international and local projects in this field, connect individuals, companies and public organizations operating in the field of creativity with state institutions and business partners that regulate this field.

The Federation will support the fertile ecosystem necessary for the development of CCIs in Azerbaijan, carry out educational and public awareness raising activities in the field, promote the production, promotion and export of creative products and services, support social organization in the field of creative industries, and will manage various movements in this framework and at the same time “Creative Azerbaijan” (creative.az). Additional information on membership and participation in the activities of the Federation will be provided.
