An event on “Supporting entrepreneurship in higher education” was held at ADA University in cooperation with the British Council Azerbaijan.
Vice-rector of ADA University Fariz Ismayilzade and Baroness Emma Nicholson, trade envoy of the British Prime Minister for Azerbaijan, welcomed the participants of the event. Then, a question-and-answer session was held with the participants of the event. At the event, the Azerbaijani representative of the British Council, the rector of the State University of Culture and Arts, the project managers of Kent University, the official of the Ministry of Culture, the chairman of the board of the Azerbaijan Creative Industries Federation, the representative of Creative UK (Creative UK) and also representatives of the local creative industry made speeches.
At the event, the possibilities of supporting entrepreneurial initiatives, including creative entrepreneurship in higher education, the prospects of increasing the role of higher education in the development of the creative economy were discussed.
